Born Raymond “Cole-Bey” Sr. in Saint Louis, Missouri. He attended school on the Southside of Saint Louis. Cole-Bey was an avid bass guitar player, motorcyclist, and was a handball champion. He spent years pursuing his dreams as a photographer. Cole-Bey entertained an apprenticeship as a chef, perfecting the art of the bean. Food was his love language.
After college, he moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was Fleet Manager at Enterprise Car Rental. His most recent endeavor prior to retirement was at Hearthside in which he enjoyed making, shipping and receiving tasty snacks for the world to devour.
