Obituary for Oren Keith
Oren Raymond (Ray) Keith, 76, of Stanton, Michigan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct 13, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Ray was born Sept 26, 1946 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Carl Keith and Melbie Lynch Keith.
Ray spent most of his life in Texas as a truck driver working for various companies. He worked 17 years for Fleming and Sons before moving to Michigan. Ray enjoyed being with his family and friends. He loved all cars especially older models. He loved making trips to Texas to visit family and the Soo Locks.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kristie; sons, Tim and Jayson Keith of Stanton; daughters Melbie (Tim) Spencer of Denton, Tx Carla (Higinio) Carvajal-Hernandez of Arlington, Tx; Sisters Mae Clark of Coppers Cove, Tx, Viola Coker of Gilmer, Tx, Linda Searcy of Fort Worth, Tx; brother John Keith of Gilmer, Tx; His mother-in-law Dorothy Allen of Crystal, Mi; brother-in-law Brian (Dan) Allen of Farwell; Sister-in-law Autumn (Dan) Humphrey of Stanton; Special friends Gail Little of Crystal; Traci and Joe Wohlfert of Hubbardston; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Orlean and Carolyn Keith, brothers-in-law Jason Coker, Butch Clark and father-in-law William Allen.
A funeral service will be held Oct 29 at 11 a.m. at Pine Grove Church, Stanton, Mi. luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. Committal service will be at 2 p.m. in Seville Twp Cemetery.
