Obituary for Nelson Smith
On July 22nd Nelson W. Smith (66 y.o.) joined his mother (Jean Geldersma), his father (Charles Smith), and grandson (Kurt Risher).
He is survived by his brothers George Deible (Gaynell), David Deible (Hilda), his three daughters Katrina Scharaswak (Greg), Atina Davis (Charles), and MariAnn Moore, and his three grandchildren Stevie Bruce (13 y.o.), Emma Faith (3 y.o.), and Karoline Lynn (5 m.o.)
Nelson enjoyed riding his bike, always finding a “good deal” at garage sales. Despite his past and shortcomings, Nelson was a great man, he cared about others, and he always lent a helping hand to someone who needed it. He was kind, caring, generous, reliable, and always loved making someone laugh.
Nelson will forever be remembered as the goofy dad who loved to dance around with his daughters to classic rock.
