Obituary for Molly Terhaar

Molly Ann Ter Haar (Hayward/Houlihan)
Born December 27, 1938 left this world on June 2, 2022 at age 83.
Molly lost her birth parents Donald and Helen Houlihan at a very young age. She and 10 other siblings were adopted out to various family members. Molly was adopted by Harold and Florence Hayward a cousin of her birth mother.
Molly was an avid horseback rider and had a knack with animals, children and the elderly. She also built a barn alone as a kid and hunted. Molly went to Grandville schools.
She worked until March 25, 1970 as a nurse's aide and in home caregiver. In the years to follow, she worked part time at her children’s school and private care with elderly and special needs people. Molly worked at Blodgett and Metro (Osteopathic Hospital) along with Crestview Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by both sets of parents, her 1st born son and many of her siblings.
Surviving Molly are her husband Larry Ter Haar married 56 years!
Her daughter Lisa Johnston/Ter Haar, Lisa's children and grandsons
Kristopher (Shannon) Wilder, Jesse Plank, Lillian Plank and Sylvia Ter Haar/Johnston.
Mollys great grandsons Alchemy and Milo.
She is also survived by her son Lyle Ter Haar and his children Giddeon and Evalyhn Ter Haar.
Molly is also survived by her younger sister Marion (Ken) Adamy and her younger brother Jack (known as Mike) Diane Houlihan along with many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank 2 special nieces Karen and Kim
