Matthew David Giles, age 43, born July 5, 1978 to David Giles and Barbara (Fairfield) Elliott went to the arms of Jesus on May 28, 2022. He was employed at Bimbo Bakeries U.S.A. located in Kentwood, MI as an Engineering/Maintenance supervisor. Growing up in Muskegon he attended Reeths- Puffer Schools where through the years you would see him on the soccer and football fields. He loved to travel the world visiting many countries and enjoyed long distance biking.
He is survived by his parents, David Giles and Barbara (Jim) Elliott; brother Kevin (Jen) Giles and nieces Layla and Reese Giles; many Aunts, uncles, and cousins who were a big part of his life growing up. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Doug Giles, Phyllis Shiel, Vern and Annajean Fairfield and his niece Rylee Giles.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at First Lutheran Church 1206 Whitehall Rd, Muskegon, MI with Pastor Bill Uetricht. The service will also be live streamed and can be found at the First Lutheran Muskegon Facebook or youtube.
