Obituary for Kc Vaughn
Kc Vaughn gained his angel wings on Sunday, May 29, 2022, after several years of battling Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's.
Kc was born in Marion IN on May 17, 1949 to proud parents Karl Chester and Betty Vaughn. He attending Rochester Community schools for most of his school years and finished his senior year in Winamac, IN. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors degree in Industrial Management/Human Resources.
He was an avid runner, loved to work out and swim. He loved his kitties, especially Jimmy Stewart, Benji Girl and Nugget. He loved sitting on a sunny day watching the wind blow through the trees around his yard, and all the wildlife that may scamper out of the woods at any given moment. He enjoying shopping, even window shopping would suffice. Browsing through an Art Fair made it an excellent day for him, then listen to some good old Rock and Roll on the way home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Betty, as well as his sister, Vickie Harter.
Kc is survived by survived by his wife, Joni Vaughn, Muskegon MI. They just celebrated 24 years of marriage earlier in May. his sister, Loree (Ed) Fisher of Winamac, IN. His step-sons Jeremy (Jillian) Bender, Jason (Hannah) Bender and their families. His daughter Gretchen Vaughn Trost, Grand Rapids, MI and son Karl Vaughn Furr, Albuquerque NM, his 10 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
